2021 South East Wiffle Rules:

 

Roster:

1.1   Teams may consist of 2-5 players on a roster.

1.2  Max of 3 players in the field at once minimum of 2.

1.3  Teams must have matching jerseys.

1.4  Rosters along with batting order must be submitted prior to the game.

Batting:

2.1  All players on the roster must bat.

2.2  No bunting will be allowed.

2.3  All plastic bats with a maximum of 2.75 inch diameter will be allowed.

2.4  3 strikes will serves as an out.

2.5  5 balls will be a walk.

2.6  If a ball is fouled into the strike zone on strike 3 it will be an out.

2.7  Hit by pitch is a ball, unless it’s a head shot then it will be an automatic walk.

2.8  If a batter sticks any part of their body in front of the strike zone or stops the balls momentum with their hand it will serve as a strike.

 

Pitching:
 

3.1  There will be no speed limit.

3.2  A pitcher can not pitch a broken ball.

3.3  Wiffle ball can be scuffed, slightly cut, or clean.

3.4  Pitchers foot must remain on mound until the ball is released.

 

Field Rules:

 

4.1  Pitchers mound will be 42ft from home plate and 45ft to strike zone.

4.2  Bases will be 42ft apart.

4.3  No lead offs.

4.4  No gloves allowed.

4.5  Each game will be 5 innings in pool play and 6 innings in bracket play.

4.6  When a pitcher enters they will be allowed 7 warm up pitches.

4.7  Each team must have 3 useable balls on the field.

4.8  Once a pitcher has the ball in the circle the play is dead.

4.9  PITCHERS POISON RULE: A player can record an out at first by getting the ball in the pitchers circle before the runner reaches first base.

4.10  With bases loaded you can record a force out at home by hitting the 7x7 netting before the runner reaches home.

4.11  If the ball is thrown 10ft out of play it will be deemed a dead ball and runners will advance on base only.

4.12  Pegging base runners is allowed.

4.13  All pool play games will have 1 hour time limit.

4.14  No fighting or arguing is allowed, What the tournament host says goes any other issues will result in disqualification and removal from the field.

4.15  Batter has the call on fair and foul balls unless a designated ump is at the field.

4.16  If you’re late to a game it will be automatic forfeit.

4.17  Forfeit is equaled to a run per inning.
