In 2020 we saw a tournament bracket be busted wide open. We had 2 teams go undefeated in pool play Alabama Wifflers and Music City Wifflers were both (2-0) and the 1 and 2 seed going into bracket play. The two bottom teams were Bench Warmers and 29ers. The 29ers went all the way from the play in game to the championship as the 8th seed overall. Galaxy and Anarchy finished as the 4th and 5th seed respectfully and they battled it out in the first round and Anarchy's bat seemed to be to strong as Galaxy had struggled all day to put up runs. Chicken and Wiffle knocked out the Busch Lights and Alabama Wifflers beat a short handed Kryptonite team. The 29ers would eventually take on Music City Wifflers, a team they had faced earlier in the season in Nashville, TN and this time they would pull off the upset to advance to the championship and leave Music City to battle it out with Anarchy a team that had just battled to beat Chris Harley (Chicken and Wiffle) for the final spot in the championship. Anarchy struggled to hit off Willie Walton (Music City Wifflers) and ultimately fell short of their goals. The final two teams standing was Music City Wifflers and 29ers for a championship game that would last well into the next morning. Bats were at full strength in the first game of the double elimination championship as Music City won 15-11 and in the final game of the tournament Music City would win in a close margin to claim the South East Wiffle's Championship.
